For new democrats, politics is advancing free trade, deregulation and non union high tech work. That that was accompanied by these reactionary appeals and policies on criminal justice, immigration,. affirmative action and the explicit promotion of the heteronormative nuclear family. They called fort preventing crime and punishing criminals, not explaining away their behavior. And forqte, equal opportunity, not equal outcomes.
