I've Been Thinking About the Cult Typology in the Old Testament

I'm still wrestling with this story of Isaac obviously because that's such a complicated story and I do think it's reasonable to think about it as a form of foreshadowing at least the way the Bible is set up. The idea that you would offer yourself as a sacrifice to God seems to me to follow quite logically because well obviously you have nothing greater to give than the best of yourself right so you sacrifice yourself to the highest good. That's part of the man that'spart of the way in which humanity is redeemed that makes sense to me"
