When crack first hit in 1985, it started in LA, but New York City became the mecca of crack dealing and crack using. It was a gigantic economic opportunity for many young men who would never have had an opportunity like this otherwise. So different crews from all over the neighborhood could set up in a building and make up to 50, 60, $70,000 in one day. You take a deep breath and you just bow through everything because you could do anything you want. And we got a pistol on this.
