Why Governments Shouldn't Invest in Agriculture?

I'm a supporter of our agriculture sector. I think it's been a fabulous underpinning of this country for so long. Government does invest significantly and it invests in the science,. It invests in marketing support, NCTE and organisations of that kind. The government recognises that we've got a significant competitive advantage in that space and that we need to exploit it. If you don't have a rebate scheme that is at least at floor level, you will not have a film industry. That's not an exaggeration. That's just a truth. And so that's a choice. But I would choose to have it.
