Johnny Hemple is the third and final co-founder of white tree. He was involved in building a business called Partners Capital, where he worked for 14 years. His conclusions were it's quite opaque. It's very difficult to work out what's really going on in someone's financial affairs. Most of the advice is geared around selling something. Plus, also the industry is quite high cost. There are a few issues with it. We thought maybe we can combine this skill set, institutional approach to management of assets and liabilities and create something which doesn't exist for individuals.
