The Fucking Story of Union Carbide

Union carbide Indian management put out brochures advising employees that they could develop a resistance to poison by drinking six or seven glasses of milk per day. By the end of 1982, most of the original MIC operators had resigned. Workers from other union carbide plants without the proper training and experience were brought in to manage the plant. Due to fears of industrial espionage, these new workers did not have access to manuals that told them how to do their job.
