The report said that all fossil fuel intr structure that currently exists in the world will send us over m the tipping point one point five. The oil industry is very much behind the scenes orchestrating a lot of the crazy prices we're seeing right now. There are vested economic interests, many of them controlled by governments and private companies who have an interest in seeing their product continue to be the number one thing that we all fight over. I think there's been seven oil and gas projects approved world wide since the report was released.

Paris Marx is joined by Molly Taft to discuss why we need to act now to reduce emissions, what role carbon removal technologies can play, and how Silicon Valley is trying to shift our focus to future technologies rather than taking drastic action today.
