Gawfinkle said his pupils to try and define what reality was. He invented what I known as breaching experiments. The idea was that in this way, the students would discover what part of reality is socially created and what part isn't. Gawfinkle tried a lot of experiments like that with the upshot that none of his students were sure any more whatreality was.
