What Is the Sexual Revolution?
First wave feminism is normally used to describe suffrage, so the late 19th, early 20th century. Second wave is normally said to start with Simone De Beauvoir's second sex publication in 1945. Third wave feminism is more controversial. It's generally taken to be sort of 1990s onwards. But there are a lot of, I mean, we're still living that history.
