Generative art combines the art part of putting together these artistic ideas and then the coding part. P5.js is an all-in-one solution that just gives you everything you need to get started. There isn't really a barrier to entry, especially for web developers. But in terms of coming up with the ideas or executing on an idea you have, it feels like you kind of need to be an artist a little bit.
