The History of Britannia

Pythius used a stick to map the island. He would poke his stick into the ground and measure the length of the shadow. By doing this, he was able to roughly figure out where he was on the island. Later, as his findings were spread into rome, they were also translated into latin. And over time, that morfed into britannia, which is how we got our modern name.
