The only evidence that we have of a title that Jane Austen been thinking of was the Elliot's which sounds makes it sound like a Victorian sitcom or something. And we're talking about the nature of of female power in the society where there's like not a lot of it. As opposed to trying to identify how every part of the book is like a take on something else.
