The Importance of Repetition in Comedy
I think sometimes hecklers believe that they are enhancing your show because they don't know the sort of comedy more raise. They just think that's what they see on shows. If you do ignore them, they will actually stop. Just approach a heckler conversationally. Don't try to fight fire with fire. And just know the audience is on your side and ignoring them is very powerful.
