Scope's Trial Was a Re Trial of Galileo
Scopes trial was a kind of re-trial of galileo. Galileo said the earth revolved around the sun and not the other way around. Scopes never denied that he had. The prosecution had to prove that the theory of evolution contradicts the bible. When i listened to this part of the trial, i imagine americans at home listening wondering to themselves, would i be qualified to sit on that jury?
