The Four Times Christopher Hitchens Expressed His Brilliant Wit
"I just disagree with his conception of wit. And it's one of the things that made me realize I've had sort of outgrown him," he says about Hitchens. "It was more like punching down and it felt like, oh, so you're superior, but why should I care? Why are you so eager to praise one another for your insults of others?" He adds: "We're moving further and further away from a writer who still wants to address society."
