Kira's desktop hung, mouse unresponsive. All she could see was the murky reflection of her own surprised face staring back at her. The office buzzed with panic. Did anyone else's computer crash? I just started sequencing them as queen examples. Okay, who forgot to feed the hamster in the server room? Someone joked. Kira shoved away from her desk. She'd had quite enough of being treated like something between a medical miracle and a monster. And it was with that thought on her mind that the gene keep workstations began worrying frantically one by one. They're cool? Allison shrieked into the phone. You think these other clones are cool?
