CHAPTER

The Enzyme Is Important for Polyamine Synthesis

The L-citralines derive from noss and inflammatory macrophages, they thought that lac one would be dependent on noss two for its function because noss two provides the substrate. There's no extra loss of function if you don't have the enzyme, it doesn't matter if you don’t have the substrates or vice versa. So long and short, they map out the whole pathway and basically find that this enzyme has a whole new function that no one knew about. It is an anti-inflammatory shunt from inflammatory signaling and macrophages by converting the downstream inflammatory molecule to the anti-inflammatory one.
