i maintain we humans desperately need validation and recognition from other people. I believe that would be one of maslow's needs, ind higher esteem, esteem. And if we are not able to get that from our parents or from other people when we're very young, it's very wounding. We all have various degrees of self absorption, and we're all capable of becoming deep narcississ if we suffer some kind of drama. But a deep narcissist is someone who is always below that level,. can never rise above they have probably suffered some kind of deep wounds in early childhood.
