Is There a Bucket Strategy Approach to Retirement?
Fritz: I think if a bucket strategy approach helps people to spend more comfortably and confidently in retirement, I'm totally up for it. We probably spend more now, especially with inflation up a little bit. So we have three cruises planned for this year; our daughter likes cruising. She has already developed a little bit of an expensive taste in terms of her vacations and restaurant preferences. He would argue that I'm potentially not my goal generating alpha or excess returns is what the bucket strategy is about.
