The first step of my position in process actually has to be competitive alternatives. And so and competitive alternatives is not the same as competitors, because it's a customer would do if you didn't exist. Once i get that, then i can say, ok, i can go sell this thing to any company,. But what are the characteristics of a target account that make them care a lot about my differentiated value? That's where you want to focus your marketing and sales efforts.
