The Name of the Three Children
In chapter six and seven, the people of Israel appear to be seeking God, but they're only seeking relief. He compares their love to the morning dew that evaporates quickly. And he reminds them again, I want your hearts, not your bulls. On the surface, these names may seem cruel for sure, but if we look closer, they paint a picture of the story of our sin and Christ's redemption.
