How to Model a Latent Interaction With Multiple Indicators
Dave Kenny is one of my heroes in the entire field and his name has come up repeatedly. People were really trying to figure this out all the way back to Kenny and Judd who were trying to essentially repuramitorize a model. And for them, I think they only had a manifest outcome variable. But just imagine someone presented you with that problem. How the heck do you model a latent interaction? It's like, Hey, you got peanut Butter on my chocolate. You got peanut butter on my chocolate."
