The Importance of Islam's Vision of the Environment and Animal Rights

I think that there needs to be serious conversation on Islam as a self-determined entity in these spheres. We're not playing by other people's rules. And so this conversation is much larger than simply we have environmental issues. Well how does Islam's view of the environment and animal rights, what are those kind of principles that are in place? But I think it's going to take more than just alleviating quote-unquote via individual efforts.
