i think the responsibility of that larger world view, the healthier aspects of that world view to own up to and push back against. i don't think it's fair to just say that's a subsect that doesn't really believe what we believe, and they don't speak for me. We're reacting to the larger cultural identity that is progressivism and its overreach and its externalities. And all i'm arguing for is that we see it more complexly. You want to bring out the more complex version, which has an analysis coming from the left. That might give us the most substantive challenge for that those problems and also solutions.
