The Prophets Used Horns as Symbols of Royal Power and Strength
In Daniel's dream, the first beast that he saw was what? It was a lion. But it's not just a lion. There's lions, there's a bear, there're a mega death leopard. And then there is this super beast who has horns growing out of his head. This is again a very biblical image used by the prophets a lot. So in biblical poetry, horns are often used as symbols for royal power and strength. For example, Psalm 75: I have chosen the appointed time, its eye who bring justice with fairness.
