Are There Compression Expansion Waves in Space?
In both our recent models and in the original generalativity model, there's this idea that there can be certain there can be things happening in space. So the question is, are there compression expansion waves in space? And the answer is yes, their gravitational waves. We didn't know for sure they existed until they were detected about five years ago in the ligo experiment. The details of how so the compression expansion in space works are little but different than the details of how that works for a sound wave itsa so called quadrupuld defformation.
