Bath - The Most Charming City Outside of London
Rick Steves: Bath was the ultimate social sort of place to see and be seen. The Roman baths were discovered in the late 19th century, 20 feet below street level. A famous dandy called Beau Nash essentially appointed himself a master of ceremonies in Bath. He controlled the way that society acted within Bath up until his death in the 1760s.
