Merrick Garland was left in place solely for this case. Do you think that if Merrick Garland disagreed with his charging decision, he could or would overrule him? Well he could. That's the job of the Attorney General is to make these final, final decisions in sensitive cases like this. But as long as there is enough to justify it, I can't see him undoing whatever Weiss recommends.
