The Conservatism of My Mother

Nigeria is a country where Christians and Muslims have lived very well together for decades, if not hundreds of years. The family on my mother's side are Christian but there were influences of other religious practices and ideas mixed in as well. But she ultimately came to reject it. She felt that going to church and giving tithe was not actually improving her life. So I think a conservatism has always won through my family.
