Taking a Walk Around the Block After Dinner

Being sedentary for long periods of time isn't doing our metabolic health or our mental health any favors, says Stoll. When you feel like you've been sitting for too long, get up and take a two minute break and briskly walk wherever you can - your home, your office. If you took ten two minute breaks per day, that's 30 minutes of total walking. That would look like getting up every and moving every half hour over an eight hour workday.
