The Importance of Balance in UX

I was wearing a Spider-Man t-shirt during my talk and this was actually a nod to the old quote that Spider-Man has, or actually his uncle in the comics, with great power comes great responsibility. And I reflected a little bit on that, because in some ways you're painting CRO people or the optimizers as the bad ones. It's not about me saying now that you need to add friction all the time, it's just finding that balance. That nod to conversion optimizer is that we are different from them.
