The Importance of Authority in Security

The story of Frank Abingarly, who was an American con man. He wound up on the flight deck of Pan Am commercial flights when he was barely 20 through the simple expedient. This is in the 1960s and one hopes securities a little bit tighter these days by sticking on a Pan Am uniform - nobody questioned the uniform. And I do wonder how even in today's so security conscious world, if you're just sticking on a stick of white coat on and the stethoscope, what damage you could do inside a hospital. Because we we reference the white coat and the Stethoscope with authority and it's in the right place.
