The Importance of Forgiveness

My older brother was killed by the negligence of a soldier. As soon as it had happened, independently of each other, my parents decided to forgive that soldier who was devastated. And I think that too is a kind of trust and sense of forgiveness that I found puzzling and beautiful at the same time. It's all goes back to a sense of faith, a sense of this is who we are. This is who our God is. This is how we live, no matter how difficult this is for us.
