In the literature, in animal rights literature and animal ethics literature, there are very often a distinction between domesticated animals and wild animals. Donaldson and Kimlica rightly says that there are also a lot of animals who sort of fall into between these two categories like crowds and house mice and all kinds of creatures. And they say that these animals should also have a place to live even though they are rights to certain spaces are really dependent on the context.
