Is God Having a Nature?
Planting is a probably the best known recent critic of divine simplicity. His book around 19 eightya set the scene for a lot of the subsequent work that's been done on divine simplicity. He says we've got to preserve both divine sovereignty, god's lordship over the creation, as well as his asiety, his independence of the created order. And we have to have some account of god that doesn't have these unfortunate consequences that the traditional doctrine ons simplicity doese.
