The Importance of Consciousness in a Christian Life

I was writing poetry at the time and somebody said, Oh, your poetry sounds a little bit like Merton and they handed me. And I read his seven story mountain and you know, that inspired me to look maybe at a contemplative life but it didn't happen. My mother ended up with a very difficult divorce. We lost everything. So we just went on the road and ended up living in the wilderness for about half a year while we tried to get our feet. But we lived out this period of neat, you know, a nomadic period of being loose from the familiar. Eventually I did find work and then we were able to save money and we got a home restarted
