How to Build an Abstrativity Platform for Your MLOps Team

One question seems that MLOps is biased more towards software engineering. Do we still need to invest time to learn state of the art models? Or we just take whatever is there like Hagen phase over and not bother with turning soda? The summary would be here to wait with heavily investing on the platform before you have at least a handful of use cases. How can you abstract away some stuff from there to the platform? Absolutely.

Speaker 1
All right, we got to do a quick break here more with Bobrock and Alex Clancy of locked on Cardinals, Brian Peacock of locked on 49ers here with you on a crossover Wednesday.
Speaker 2
Welcome back crossover Wednesday. Alex Clancy, Bobrock locked on Cardinals, Brian Peacock locked on 49ers. We've decided to remove 90% of the breaking down of the game on Sunday and more looking towards the current construct of both teams and the future of both teams. Both of these teams aren't good. The 49ers at least can use injuries as a partial reason why. You make the Cardinals the other, which is fine. I mean, Solomon Thomas has been in and out, you know, and obviously Jimmy G's out for the year, it's a red shirt year for him, you know, he's getting paid handsomely for that red shirt year. Brian, going into Sunday, what's something positive that you're hoping to see? Just the progress of CJ Bessard? Okay, let me ask this. If CJ Bessard continues to play average to above average and he's surprised people with at least the number he puts up, I know a lot of his garbage time point, could he be seen as trade bait for something moving forward when Jimmy G comes back or he's not the talent that everybody sees right now because there is only option. He's their only option.
Speaker 1
I think the number one thing that the 49ers need to see from CJ Bessard is probably consistency the rest of the season and then maybe you could talk a little bit about potential trade bait, but at this point, he's still trying to prove in my mind that he's even a capable backup and that the 49ers aren't going to still have one eye on the draft and maybe try to continue to develop another mid-round quarterback at some point because he's been up and down and the big thing is he's been a turnover machine. So I don't think anybody at this point would be trading for CJ Bessard because he'll come out and have an all right game. He had that game against the Cardinals where he chucked it what 54 times, but I mean half of those were screen passes. He looked his best game of his career was on Monday night football on the road in Lambert Field against the Packers and then he came back and had just an awful game against the Rams and just turning the ball over. He's not quick processing mentally, which I think is the number one thing that's going to hurt his NFL career is because that leads to all of his problems, basically not getting out the ball quickly. He gets hit more and he's a tough guy, but you don't want your quarterback to be proven to be as tough as CJ Bessard is because you don't want your quarterback to get hit as much as CJ Bessard does. So ball security holding onto the ball too long, not getting the ball out quickly and that hurts the offense in a number of ways with turnovers, not efficiently moving down the field. So at this point to me, I still need to be proven that that CJ Bessard is the long-term backup in a really strong backup and I'm not sold on that quite yet, but it's pretty clear that CJ Bessard is not the type of quarterback that's going to put a team on his back and lead you to victory, but he can play well enough to not lose the game for you. So that means the rest of the team has to play better and play well enough to win. And right now the 49ers aren't able to pull that off.
Speaker 2
Yeah, it's interesting when you look at the Cardinals, they're in Epton offense and you see that the Niners are just as in Epton defense. So it's just an interesting matchup. When you look back at just a couple weeks ago, you mentioned CJ Bessard was able to put up a ton of yards. You didn't have Matt Breda as a running back. He was just gassing the errors of the Cardinals in the run game. You don't have that luxury this week, but the Cardinals were able to show a bend don't break defense and forced the five turnovers but gave up a ton of yards. What do you see as far as the Niners are concerned going into this? I mean, you mentioned Bessard and he isn't necessarily playing very well kind of a turnover machine. What are the positives? Who are the Cardinals game planning in this game?
Speaker 1
I think the number one thing that is going to be a problem for every team that goes against the 49ers and the Cardinals this week is George Kittle because he's proven to be just a complete tight end. I think he's on a Pro Bowl path. He's on a 1000 yard pace right now as a receiver and he's also a very good blocker. So he'll hit people. I said it earlier about how he didn't quit last week, even though the 49ers were getting blown out. So the sky's the limit for CJ Bessard. I have loved what I've seen from him, the way he plays, his talent, his ability to get deep down the seams, run after the catch. He's got four or five, two speeds. So an underrated athlete coming out and just a steal of a fifth round pick for the 49ers that tied in. He's a long-term piece for the 49ers. So as long as CJ Bessard can get the ball out of his hands and hit guys like George Kittle, I think it could be some problems for the Cardinals defense and the number one big weapon that the 49ers have on offense and has been really hit or missed this year is Marquis Good one who has ridiculous speed and they've been able to hit some shot plays with him. And that's when you see the 49ers win games is when they're able to hit that play with Marquis Goodwin score quick. Get a quick six and that really puts opposing defenses in a bind.
Speaker 2
Wrap it up here, crossover Wednesday locked on podcast network. Alex Clancy, Bob Rock locked on Cardinals. Brian Peacock locked on 49ers up north. Before we get to our predictions, Bo has a hot pressing question that he's got to get out of here. We got a pair of one and 16. We already started the discussion about where the Cardinals could potentially look in the 2019 NFL draft. They've got their quarterback. It seems like the 49ers seem pretty content moving forward. Jimmy G in that huge contract. Brian, if the Niner have the number one overall pick or if they just have their selection of whoever they want, do you think that they would be eyeing in next spring draft?
Speaker 1
I think right now you're starting to see the hashtag blow it for Bosa. And that's for multiple teams. I've seen one that was suck for the duck with which is the Justin Herbert hashtag, which is I don't know. I think right now Raiders fans are starting to look at quarterback too. Not sure if Derek Carr is actually their guy. That'd be interesting if Derek Carr was involved in trade talks coming up here or maybe in the off season. But when it comes to the 49ers, the number one need I think on the team by far and has been this way for a couple years is that edge pass rusher, solemn Thomas defensive end they drafted in 2017 is just not a run the arc flexible outside rusher. But he started to get some run inside as a pass rusher, which is where he should be. And I don't know why it took the 49ers so long to put him in there, but he got about 12 to 15 plays as an interior rusher last week. And that's where the 49ers are strongest. So I think that's why they've been reluctant to put him in there. But he's a base down end and a very good run defender there. He should be rushing the pastor from inside. That's going to maximize Salma Thomas's value, but they still have that that need for outside rusher and multiple outside rushes, speed rushes that can get to the quarterback and run guys down with some athleticism. And Nick Bosa looks like he's going to be most likely the number one non-quarter back in the draft and maybe the number one overall pick. So I think it's a no brainer 49ers have the number one pick. They're going to field trade offers. But aside from that defensive end, Nick Bosa from Ohio State is the guy that that 49ers fans are really excited about right now.
Speaker 2
Yeah, see that's interesting, Brian, because as we wrap this up, the Cardinals and the 49ers could not be more different in that respect, in my opinion. The Cardinals have so many holes, so many glaring issues, especially if they were to trade Patrick Peterson, that if the Cardinals had the number one overall pick, I think they'd be way more open, have bigger ears to trading down when if the 49ers had the first overall pick or second overall pick, Nick Bosa's your guy, you need an edge rusher. That's the guy that obviously that you just said that is a glaring, glaring issue. And obviously the secondary is not great. If young getting better, offensive lines better than the Cardinals, you have your quarterbacks, you have your receiver kind of way more than the Cardinals do talent-wise. So the Cardinals in my opinion, you need two teams that need quarterbacks bad that will just outbid each other until they give their whole future away. With the 49ers, it seems like edge rusher is an edge rusher, and that's what you need.
Speaker 1
Yeah, absolutely. And actually, this idea popped up my head when we were talking about the trade deadline, and there's a name on the Cardinals. And maybe we could play matchmaker real quick, I know we don't have a lot of time, but Hassan Redick, and I haven't heard his name pop up as much, but I feel like he's a little bit out of place playing that traditional inside backer, off ball linebacker for the Cardinals, but might be a great fit for the 49ers at Sam linebacker, potentially a trade there for the 49ers and Cardinals to get together.
Speaker 2
Yeah, the talks have kind of cooled on Hassan Redick being available. Playing all the snaps the last couple. Yeah, he's getting a lot of run finally, after being taken 13 overall, actually the Cardinals made the decision to take Redick over even somebody like Ruben Foster who flipped even further down in the draft. But Redick is still struggling to kind of find the ability to make plays on Sundays. But I think the Cardinals are going to kind of wait this one out and see, and not sell as low as they would on Redick at this point. So the only linebacker that's really going to be available, and everybody in the league knows it, they want to see if they want to, anybody's going to take any tap, fliers on them is damn Buchanan. But other than that, I think Redick is here to stay at least for one more season, and the Cardinals just kind of want to wait and see what they can get out of them on the field, and then what potentially they can get out of them in the offseason. All right, prediction time, Brian Hancock locked on 49ers.
Speaker 1
What's your prediction going to this barn burner on Sunday? You know, I think the 49ers are going to pull off what the Cardinals pulled off earlier this season. Go on the road and get a victory against a beatable team. The 49ers are obviously very beatable as well. But I think the number one thing is ball security, and I know it's going to be preached to CJ Bethered. And after he laid an egg a couple weeks ago, he came back and had a solid game in Green Bay against the Packers. I think they can pull that off again, where bad game, the inconsistency, come back, play a little bit better, have that pounded into his head, get the ball out quickly, find that hot read when you're getting blitzed. And I think the 49ers going to be able to pull one out against the Cardinals with all the stuff looming over the Cardinals right now with the trade deadline approaching, probably not a barn burner, anything like that. But I'm going to say 27 24 49ers. And right now the my bookie line, I think is flat even on this game, right?
Speaker 2
Because they refuse to make any people favorite in this match. I can't. I actually agree with Brian saying and I have, I'm hard pressed to take the Cardinals against anybody. I mean, as far as just going into this contest, as you said, the unrest within the locker room, you've got a new offensive coordinator. I mean, will that provide a spark potentially? But the odds are, you know, having to make a change like that mid season is not going to bode well for your offense that's been struggling already. I'm saying the Cardinals lose as one of the Niners. Oh man, what's the number, Bo? The field's off in midfield goal? No, this is not a field off in midfield goal. I'll go Niners 27, Cardinals 17. And that's being generous. All right, I'm taking the Cardinals again. It's a four week in a row. And they just want to be more. I'm one and two. This is one team they can beat. And we talked about this analogy. And this is Mike McCoy got fired. In the NBA, it's like six games or seven games when you get a new head coach, you get reinvigorated, which is what? 8% of the season. 8% of the season is one game or right. I think it's 8% season is one game. I'm taking the Cardinals here because the environment left with effect. New reinvigoration, even though Patrick Peterson may not dress, I will take the Cardinals 20 to 13 in defense of match. It's got to be 31. All game. It's got to be David Johnson. Yeah, finally finding it for the first time this season. Yeah. Well, that and I mean, Josh road was going to fill the ball 40 times. They're going to take the governor off of his arm. Alex Clancy, Bob Rock locked on Cardinals. Brian Peacock locked on 49ers crossover. When then the lockdown podcast network. Brian, thanks for doing this again, man. Part two.
Speaker 1
Absolutely. It's always fun. And I think the big winner here is going to be David Johnson, fantasy owners, right? And even more so than the 49ers are Cardinals as a

whole. Let's hope. Yeah. Let's hope. All right. Take it easy, Brian. Thanks, man. Thanks, fellas. All
