The Blinding's Skin
Lark hunts them with her glove, touching them gently and putting them to sleep. She's mostly interested in the skin. The meat of a blinding is no good to anyone. It's disgusting. But she doesn't care about those people. Lark has a very slightly soft heart. Landlord comes wandering out of the door of the house having somehow extricated himself from his blindfold. He is delighted to find a pile of blinding viscera and begin snuffling in it joyously. Within minutes, the blinding is dead. And Lark wasting no time cuts it open. That might have been a severe problem if he'd done that earlier. We are telling you this
