The Briefcase in Pulp Fiction

In pulp fiction you have these three or four stories that seem unrelated, but what relates them all is a briefcase. You never get to see what's in the briefcase and Tarantino did that deliberately because pulp fiction is postmodern. Pulp fiction confuses us into thinking that there's this big coherent narrative.
