Do I Need to Get Those Blue Pellets That Kill the Snails?

I let the situation get out of hand. Now i have a snail infestation. I could see laughter in their slime trails, and they went past it. And they decapitated one of my san marzino as. They're gone insane. Birds can't get into the greenhouse. The cats don't falk with the snails. But there's too many. Do i need to get those those pellets that you put on ground and kill the snails?
