Are Different Generations More Liable to Have Irrational Beliefs?

Are different generations more liable to have irrational beliefs and behaviours? I think over time there are lots of irrational beliefs that at least the mainstream has divested itself off. In general there is a life cycle effect, namely as you get older you tend to be less credulous about paranormal beliefs. As best I could tell from 70 years of data, belief in astrology has not changed,. belief in haunted houses, in ESPs seem to be more or less constant. We don't see it. A generational turnover, I expect a younger generation to beLess credulous than young generations say 50 years ago. You outgrow your belief in ESP and healing crystals and so on but not a generational effect
