Square Never Beat Amazon
In 2014, Square got attacked by Amazon. They undercut our price and we were expecting to die because when Amazon does that to a startup, the startup always dies. And then miraculously, we didn't die. As a matter of fact, Amazon was the one that gave up and they actually gave a little square reader to all their soon to be former customers. But this had never happened before. So in other words, a startup never beat Amazon. It's what it feels like,. except there was an actual head in a bed because I played a joke on Jack. We were actually working out of his apartment.
