The Traditional Cors of China - Shanshi
In the far northwestern corner of china, there is a province known as shanshi. This area is mostly high and rugged, and it's more dry than most of the central plain. It has long been subject to severe droughts and floods, which result in periodic famines. In recent years, shanshi has also become a centre of modern industry.
