How Did You Learn to Write?
Jacob: I wasn't a great student in college. And so I think that reading is a way to expand your horizons and to, to expand your perspective to do better at your job. So it's just something that I enjoy. You know, were you a good writer to start with? Or did you have to work at it and really put effort into becoming a proficient writer? "I remember the very first article that I wrote for a peer reviewed journal, the military review, it took me six and a half months to write," he says.
