There is very high correlation between going to religious services and o better health, an mortality. But it's not their particular god, cause they're often praying like different gods or different saints. So what's saving them is actually the regularity of meeting with other people in a similar belief system. And it's the same reason why aa groups are so effective. It's because you're getting people in a vulnerable space together in a room in person.
