More senior medics are uneasy about the way junior doctor's committee has approached all this. I wonder whether or not there is some behind the scenes pressure that can be exerted by the more senior elements of the medical profession on the juniors to come to a compromise. The general consensus amongst NHS bosses as well as consultants and people higher up essentially is that these strikes do need to end soon.
