How to Build Complexity and Diffuse Knowledge Within a Society

Tracy: Countries tend to move from where they're good at to things that are in their adjacent possible. We like to use the metaphor that products are like trees and firms are like monkeys. Tracy: If you know how to make one kind of product is kind of like easy to move. You have many ways of reorganizing that knowledge to make other things. The question is, can there be a company that engages people that was not in country and engage them having work there? Tracey: In some sense, you have to infect the system with knowledge which will allow it to spread.
