The History of Autopilots
In the early days, it was a couple unknown companies that were suggesting that there was another way to control clutch and throttle. They usually worked well for a vessel that had many that wanted to have multiple stations driving stations. So you could transfer control all over the boat. That makes it really hard to do with mechanical cable, yeah, drive. And air was air still, you know, works, but expensive to to run all that. It started it was hard starting that.
