The Future of Open Telemetry

LightStep is an open-source, cloud-based telemetry platform. The project has been criticized for being too complicated to use out of the box. LightStep uses a YAML language and can be easily configured using environment variables. There's talk of supporting configuration through YAML in different language implementations.
