Climate Science - Are You an Environmentalist or a Social Scientist?

I was brought up on a dog leopold and racial cars son. And i actually am motivated by trying to reduce the impacts of the natural world in ways that are certainly not just rational. I think it's the role of academics to be as honest and comprehensive about all they know. If you're an academic, it is your job, in my view, to say the things that may go against what you personally would vote for.
